Repair, Reconditioning, Retrofit & OEM Spare Parts

Our DMG MORI factory-trained technicians remove and reinstall the components. Spindles, milling heads and control components are repaired in Germany to OEM specification through the OEM partner network — at the OEM or at specialist German repair partners — with genuine OEM parts; Sauter turrets are overhauled to OEM specification with genuine Sauter parts. That is exactly why these programs are limited to European-built machines.

Short answer

All CNC Service & Sales runs ship-in repair programs for European-built DMG MORI, DECKEL MAHO and Gildemeister machines: our factory-trained technicians remove and reinstall the component, and spindles, milling heads and control components are repaired in Germany to OEM spec. Sauter turrets are overhauled to OEM specification with genuine Sauter parts, and retrofits replace obsolete parts with current German OEM parts. Our standard warranty is one year on all parts and products sold, and on spindle overhauls, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Spindle Repair to OEM Specification

Spindles from European-built DMG MORI, Gildemeister and DECKEL MAHO machines are repaired in Germany to OEM spec, with original parts. We handle the export and import logistics and paperwork. Spindles are repaired in Germany to OEM spec, with original parts, and standard repairs can often be completed in about one week plus shipping.

Milling-Head Overhaul to OEM Specification

Our technicians pull the head and crate it. In Germany it is completely reconditioned to OEM spec. Bearings, gears, drive and seals are brought back to factory spec with genuine OEM parts. We send the shipping documents and handle portal-to-portal transport on most parts.

A ship-in service for Sauter turrets. We send you the shipping documents for sending the unit out and getting it back, and we handle portal-to-portal shipping on most parts. The turret is overhauled to OEM specification with genuine Sauter parts — factory specifications, full OEM quality.

Retrofit & Modernization

For European-built DMG MORI machines.

When a component fails and the original is obsolete or no longer supported, we replace it with current German OEM parts so the machine keeps running to factory spec instead of being scrapped. Examples: coolant/lubrication units, Waldmann machine lighting, and other obsolete components.

Control Repair & Exchange

For European-built DMG MORI machines.

Failed Siemens or Heidenhain control and feedback components — drives, control modules, operator panels, Heidenhain linear scales, and spindle encoders — are repaired where viable, or exchanged and replaced with new genuine parts. We also repair and exchange touch probes and laser tool-setters from Renishaw, Heidenhain, and Blum. Routed through our service network and restored to factory specification.
