Fits common Haas models: VF, UMC and ST
We install the S3 on all common Haas models. It comes in two mounting versions. The adhesive version (our recommendation) bonds directly to the window — no drilling, no cut-out — on laminated glass or polycarbonate. The screw version needs no cut-out either — only the mounting holes for the drive unit are drilled into the polycarbonate window (milling machines only). We recommend the adhesive version: drilling can easily damage the window. Which one fits depends on the machine and its window — we confirm yours before quoting.
Haas VF vertical mills
Both versions are an option on a VF mill. We recommend the adhesive version.
Haas UMC 5-axis machines
As milling machines, UMC models can take either version. We recommend the adhesive version.
Haas ST lathes
On a lathe, the adhesive version is the one that fits: the screw version is for milling machines only.
